Rufino began his professional career in 2010 at BrandNew Angola – Comunicação e Marketing, S.A., performing the role of Administrative and Financial Assistant.
He joined Aon Angola (currently Zillian Angola) in 2012 and was placed in the Financial Department as Financial Assistant. In the same year, as a result of the strategy adopted by the Company and in order to take advantage of the existing skills, he was transferred to the Technical and Claims Department, where he began to manage claims for Strategic Clients, preparing Claims Reports, Cost Reduction Policies and Benchmarking.
In 2016, he was transferred to the Commercial Department in the role of Operational Coordinator, ensuring that his team achieved the highest levels of client satisfaction, that is, supporting issues resolution, ensuring quality of service, monitoring compliance with deadlines, recording and verifying activities and developing control tools.
Three years later, he moves to the role of Commercial Coordinator, evaluating monthly and annually the objectives defined for each element of his team, with responsibility for identifying and developing business opportunities, taking into consideration aspects such as market segmentation and quantification, and expected return.
In 2021, he was appointed to coordinate the Technical and Claims team, having been recognized not only for his professional experience, but also for his sense of responsibility. He performs claims management for Strategic Clients and is part of the Team that issues Commercial Proposals / Quotations at the request of the company's commercial teams.
In 2023, Rufino accepted the invitation to lead Zillian’s Operations Department, a team responsible for handling client operational requests and administrative processes, in close collaboration with the client service teams.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Organization and Management from UGS - Universidade Gregório Semedo, holds a Certificate in life and non-life insurance and reinsurance for Agents, Brokers and Mediators from the Portuguese Insurers Association, and a Certificate in Property - Digital Business, Cargo Transport and Agribusiness from Swiss Re.
